About us
Local people, solving local problems
For fourteen years we've listened first, then built what villages asked for.
Why we started
It began with one well
In 2012, a group of nurses and teachers in Kisumu noticed the same thing: children were missing school because they were sick, and they were sick because the water was dirty.
So we started with one well. Today we work in 40 villages, but the idea hasn't changed: listen to the village first, build what they ask for, and train local people to run it.
